Sip of the Day: Strong Passwords
Titera's Tidbit: Mung
Sometimes spelled "munge", this handy bit of computer jargon means to make successive changes in some project - writing a bit of code, say, or designing an automobile. Each change can be reversed, but in time the changes alter the direction of the project so much that it becomes something different from its original intention. The term was coined by model railroders at MIT in 1958.
