Sip of the Day: Why Buy a DSLR Camera?
Titera's Tidbit: HP
In 1939, two Stanford classmates, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, founded an electronic equipment manufacturing company. The company's inaugural product, an audio oscillator, found its biggest customer in Walt Disney Studios, where it was used in making Fantasia. Hewlett-Packard was abbreviated to "HP" in the 1990's. In China, a major market, "HP" is called Hui-Pu, which means "universally beneficial".
